DOE Computational Science Graduate Fellowship
- Undergraduate seniors
- Individuals with a B.S. or B.A. degree and not enrolled in graduate school
- First-year graduate students (M.S. degree or Ph.D. students with or without M.S. degree)
- Students enrolled in an M.S. degree program who are beyond the first year with planned full-time, uninterrupted study toward a Ph.D.
- Individuals with an M.S. degree who are not enrolled in graduate school for two years prior to resuming graduate studies
- Members of the following under-represented groups in science and engineering: American Indian/Native, African American/Black and/or Hispanic American/Latino
- Admitted into a GEM Member University graduate program with confirmed department funding support
- U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident
NEUP-Integrated University Program Graduate Fellowship
- U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident
- Early stages of graduate work
- Minimum 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale for both undergraduate and graduate work
- Only 4 fellowships per institution will be awarded
Rickover Fellowship Program in Nuclear Engineering (RFP)
- Have an undergraduate degree in mathematics, computational science, physical science or engineering
- Beginning graduate studies (on or before September 1, 2021)
- Current graduate students who are enrolled in a qualified course of study
- U.S. citizen (any applicant with dual citizenship is required to revoke their non-U.S. citizenship in order to be to accept the award)
- Capable of obtaining a security clearance from the DOE
Stanton Nuclear Security Fellowship
- U.S. citizen
- Strong record of professional achievement
- Postdoctoral fellows or junior faculty in a tenure-track position at a recognized university
- Junior faculty at law schools or with a law degree as their terminal degree are also eligible
Nuclear Nonproliferation International Safeguards (NNIS) Graduate Fellowship Program
- U.S. Citizen
- About to enroll in or currently enrolled in a qualified course of study at a participating university
- At least one full year of graduate work remaining at the beginning of September 2021

Wilkinson Fellowship in Scientific Computing
- Recently earned a Ph.D.
- Interest in applying scientific computing methods to science and engineering applications, including computational fluid dynamics (CFD), climate and weather models, molecular dynamics, power grid and design of complex systems such as PDE-constrained design of cloaking devices, as well as many other areas.
Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL)
Goldhaber Distinguished Fellowships Program
- Must have earned a Ph.D. in the past three years and have training in any discipline pertinent to the lab’s mission.
Fermilab
- Must have a Ph.D. in physics with at least two years of post-doctoral experience.

- Either have obtained a Ph.D. in an appropriate field after September 1, 2018 or expect to obtain a Ph.D. in an appropriate field by September 1, 2020
- Earned a Ph.D. within the past three years in accelerator physics or accelerator-related technology

Neutrino Physics Center Fellowship Program
- Master’s students, Ph.D. students, post-doctoral fellows and senior researchers are all eligible to apply
- Must have a Ph.D. in physics with a proven research record
- Individual proposals may be submitted by researchers who are faculty, postdocs or graduate students at URA-member universities doing research in areas such as high energy physics experiments, astrophysics, theory, accelerator physics, materials science, computer science, engineering and accelerator R&D related to the Fermilab mission
- Applicants must be employed by or, in the case of graduate students, enrolled at URA member institutions during the course of the award.
- Must have a Ph.D. in Experimental or Theoretical Particle or Nuclear Physics
- Retirees and Fermilab employees are not eligible
- Must be a citizen of India and be able to obtain necessary visa (or other documentation if necessary) to work at Fermilab as a visiting Guest Researcher.
Bardeen Engineering Leadership Program
- Must have earned a master’s or doctoral degree in engineering from an accredited institution within the past three years.
- To qualify, the thesis must have been submitted as partial fulfillment of the Ph.D. requirements, be written in English, and must have been submitted in electronic form to the Fermilab Publications Office in accordance with Fermilab policy.
