Los Alamos National Laboratories (LANL) Recruitment Week

The Texas A&M University System’s National Laboratories Office Leadership invites you to LANL Week, a Los Alamos National Laboratory interviewing and hiring event on campus in College Station starting Monday, September 20, 2023 and lasting through Thursday, September 21, 2023. Representatives from multiple laboratory divisions will be conducting pre-scheduled interviews with prospective employees. If you are interested in serving our country through scientific development and application, while paying off those student loans, submit your resume to schedule an interview ahead of time with any or all of the divisions hiring listed below. Weapons Engineering – Weapons Engineering (ALDW) integrates planning and execution of the stockpile stewardship program.

Positions

Weapons Production – Weapons Production (ALDWP) is responsible for the production of plutonium pits, detonators, and non-nuclear components, along with the necessary evaluation that ensures safe and reliable products.

Facilities and Operations – The facilities and operations directorate are responsible for facility operations and maintenance, engineering, site infrastructure, campus master plan, and real estate management for 8.4 million square feet of laboratory, mission, computational, office, and support facilities, supporting the mission of the entire laboratory.

Environment, Safety, Health, and Quality – ESHQ provides expertise in environmental protection and stewardship, radiation protection, industrial hygiene, and waste management. We provide mission enabling services by protecting people, resources, and the environment.

Science, Technology and Engineering – Delivering mission success and innovative solutions to national security problems through the agile, rapid application of our transformational scientific capabilities. These areas include chemical, earth and life sciences, global security, physical sciences, simulation and computation.

  • Monday, September 18, 2023, 5 PM to 7 PM – LANL Panel Discussion located in the Zachry Engineering Education Complex, Chevron 299. Light dinner and refreshments to be served. Register for dinner at this link.
  • Tuesday, September 19, 2023, 4 PM to 6 PM – Faculty Technical Talks located in the Zachry Engineering Education Complex, Chevron 297, 298, 299.
